Job Description
Job activities will include:
- Scrutiny of Process / Mechanical / Eqpt datasheets based on basic engg package, in coordination with Project in charge & Process / Mech engg., revision control of the same
- Conceptual layout & eqpt location design for the plan
- Coordination of generation of design documents with the mechanical, instrument , civil & electrical engg team. providing necessary input data to civil/ structural consultants, electrical , mech & instrument engg.
- Coordination of related information flow right from Client down to vendors
- Amendment of P & ID's as per the detailed engg inputs & reqts of the other depts
- Checking & incorporation into the documents of the comments by client, consultant, vendors
- Generating piping, insulation & accessories, bulk items specifications
- Creating the plant layout / GA's, eqpt location - supports, piping, electrical & instrument cable layout & routing plans & design , incorporating the inputs from Mech, Instrument , civil & electrical depts , in coordination with the piping team of piping designers & CAD operators ( Isometric / 3 d as appropriate)
- Generating the bulk Items, valves & accessories MTO / BOM based on Basic engg & Detailed Engg documents with help of piping team
- Stage wise checking of the documents , design & plans to ensure that the revisions in eqpt design, plans, orientations & other details are incorporated .
-Assisting the project team during pre commissioning & commissioning of the plant
