Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - Purchase Godrej Precision Engineering Systems

Job Description

Incumbent would be responsible for:

•Procurement of Raw Materials like plates ,castings ,forgings , bars and pipes as per MTOs/ Quality Assurance Plans for Project requirements

•Procurement of standard and customized Bought out items : Electrical items like like motors , control panels,wires and cables etc. /Paints /Hardwares / welding electrodes/rubber items/ Hydraulic and pneumatic items for Project requirements

•Establish & Maintain effective Vendor Data base.

•Giving feedback to estimation for cost estimation of Projects.

•Tracking & effective follow up of procurement activities to get the items as per requirements and within specified time.

•Knowledge of working on Computer Softwares such Windows, Office and conversant with working on BAAN., conversant with IMS requirements

•Knowledge of commercial aspects of purchase like Govt. Taxation, Transportation,legal aspect etc.

•Timely payment to vendors

•Reduction of procurement lead time

•Daily Work Management and co-ordination with internal user departments.

 

Desired Candidate Profile

Incumbent should have exposure in Procurement of Plates, Casting or Forgings. Experience from Industrial Products or Heavy Engineering products would be relevant.
