He should have good knowledge of PID’s, Piping Layout, pipe supports, Isometrics, Piping specifications etc. The piping engineer guides and instructs the draftsman and checks the drawings and models with specifications. Knowledge of Piping stress analysis is essential.
- The Senior piping engineer coordinates with the engineers in our international offices as well as engineers within our own office, where he forms part of an overall project team.
- Our organisation is strongly project oriented. Our projects are multi-disciplinary where we work with piping, structural, process and E & I Engineers.
- The designs made by our engineers will always be built, therefore a high level of knowledge and experience is required. A flexible attitude, broad range of interest, good cooperative skills, and a willingness to excel are vital for this position.
